Own The Map texting terms & privacy
Own The Map is operated by Alloy Dental LLC. These terms cover text messages Own The Map sends to dental office staff, and to patients on behalf of the dental office that holds their records.
What we text
- Office staff: one-time sign-in codes for the Own The Map portal, sent when you sign in, and alerts to the front-desk mobile when a patient asks to book. Staff numbers are added by the office owner or by the staff member, with this notice shown next to the field.
- Patients: appointment reminders from their own dental office, sent in that office's name, to the mobile number the patient gave the office.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number. Reply HELP for help or email booker@alloydental.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share a number only with the carrier and messaging provider needed to deliver the message. Patient information is handled as protected health information under our Business Associate Agreement with the dental office.
